Hello! I am writing from Maryland, United States of America. My ancesters are Chmeliczek. My father's name was Rudolf Chmeliczek and my grandfather was Ferdinand Chmeliczek. The were born and lived near Eger, Sudetenland now Czech Republic. I wonder if we could be related. I am trying to find relatives. My father came from a family of nine children. I know he had brothers: Georg, Hans and a sister Maria. Maybe you have some information. My father died a long and painful death - lung cancer in 1980. My mother's name was Julie Fischer. She died in 1990. After world war II, my family lived in Bavaria, Germany, north of Regensburg. I still have family there, as well as in Heidelberg and near Emmendingen close to the French border.
